THE PROFESSIONALS: SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Well done!  I don't know these characters as well as I would like, but you've made them "real" for me.  Keep going, keep writing, and God bless.

I really enjoyed your story for The Professionals, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.  It really kept me reading, a 'page turner.'  :)
I liked the way you wrote the characters.  It gave me a lot to think about and I enjoyed the journey very much.
I loved how neither Bodie nor Doyle gave up, no matter how hard they had to work to get their health back.  As someone who struggles with her health, it was an encouragement to me to not give up, as well as a good story to enjoy. :)

I'm delighted to find this story!  I've read your other AS&J work over the years but didn't know you'd written for The Professionals, which was one of my favourite shows back in the day. This was very angsty but very true to the characters. Bodie always was feisty and rebellious, and Cowley's 'iron fist in a velvet glove' character shows through clearly in this story. A very compelling read!

I used to love this show. And I loved this story. It delves deeper into their working relationship/bond of friendship which was only hinted at in the show but rarely displayed. Love the way they both come through adversity to get their lives back on track.

I had a huge crush on Doyle back in the day and you capture his character perfectly – outwardly tough but with a sensitive core – and also his sometimes long-suffering relationship with Bodie who was often anti-authoritarian and bull headed, winding Doyle up by diving in without considering the consequences.  Cowley’s tough-but-fair character, with a soft spot for his ‘best men’,  comes through clearly also. They had their fair share of mishaps in this story but it was very real to how the characters would probably would have dealt with them.  An enjoyable read.
