A FANTASY ROMANCE
I’m glad you rediscovered and posted this story. It was a compelling read. The characters are very believable and I wanted to know how things turned out for them. The ending was perfect and just how I hoped it would be. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed this story. It highlights how celebrities are perceived by fans as almost God-like sometimes, expected to be “on” 100% of the time regardless of their personal circumstances – whether they’re not 100% well, or have perhaps suffered some personal loss or other catastrophe “The show must go on” which is depicted very well in this story. Alan’s physical and mental resolve was tested, almost to the limit, because of misunderstandings on the part of both main characters. I don’t want to give too much away, but the ending was just what I hoped for. And I loved going back to a time before computers and mobile phones took over our lives. Thanks for sharing this story.

I've read your AS&J fanfics but never knew you had written original fics too. Very much enjoyed this story. You give as much care and attention to these characters as you do in your AS&J stories. I felt for Alan, still struggling with the emotional after effects of losing his first love, even years later. So glad things worked out in the end. Thanks for sharing. Excellent story! I am not usually a romance novel reader, preferring Westerns (ASJ!) but this really struck me as a well thought out, planned and executed slice of the life of a star and the challenges they must face living day to day. We see all the glamour and glitz but rarely see the emotional struggles that come along with the price of fame. You captured it well, tying past experiences to current experiences and wrapping them together into a great blend of love, passion and angst. The Alan character could be a character study on what drives a person to seek their passion. Well done!
